Henri Steinmetz, President and Chief Executive Officer
Henri Steinmetz has been managing the RÜTGERS Group since 13 July 2009. He previously served as president of the Sulzer Metco division of global Swiss corporation Sulzer AG. Steinmetz held various international positions at General Electric for many years and was an executive in chemicals industry companies such as M.A. Hanna and Great Lakes Chemical Corporation. Henri Steinmetz holds an engineering degree in metallurgy from the Clausthal University of Technology in Germany and an MBA from the INSEAD business school in Fontainebleau, France.
Dr. Max Padberg, Chief Financial Officer
As of 26th October 2010 Dr. Max Padberg has the overall responsibility for the departments Finance, Legal and IT. Together with Mr. Steinmetz, Dr. Max Padberg has the extensive international management experience to spur the RÜTGERS Group on in the present phase of international growth of the company. In his last position he was CFO at Versatel AG and previously he was Senior Vice President at LSG Sky Chefs Group and responsible for the complete Finance operations. In addition, Dr. Padberg has gained considerable financial experience at Mannesmann Demag in the USA and at the corporate headquarters in Germany. Dr. Padberg graduated in Business Management (Diplom-Kaufmann) and received a doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) at the University of Münster, Germany.
