Henri Steinmetz, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Henri Steinmetz has been managing the businesses of the RÜTGERS Group since 13th.of July 2009. Previously, he held responsibilities as President of the Sulzer Metco Division, which belongs to the globally operating Swiss company Sulzer AG. He has had many different international roles and has worked many years for General Electric. He has held high management positions in the chemical industry such as at M.A. Hannah and the Great Lakes Chemical Corporation. Henri Steinmetz obtained an engineering qualification in metallurgy (Dipl. Ingenieur) at the Clausthal University of Technology in Germany and an MBA from the INSEAD business school at Fontainebleau.

Joachim Eilert, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Joachim Eilert has been RÜTGERS Group CFO since January 2009. Previously, he was financial transactions manager at Bundesdruckerei GmbH (Federal printers office) and from 2002 to 2005 financial director at Hapag-Lloyd AG.. Before that he worked from 1984 to 2001 in various management roles at Preussag AG, last of all as manager of Group Controlling. This was during the time when the radical group restructuring took place. Joachim Eilert has a qualification in economics from the University of Hanover.
