RÜTGERS is not only one of the leading producers of tar-derived base chemicals in the world but, with its subsidiary RÜTGERS ChemTrade in Duisburg, is also a highly specialised, globally operating, trading partner for many customers in the fertiliser, mineral and aluminium industries; also for integrated smelting plants, steel works, foundries, distilleries, petroleum refineries and carbon black producers Our product range includes coal by-products and aromatics – of which crude benzene is of special role – It also includes chemical products such as acids, bases, sulphates, dyes and pigments.
Our Sites
RÜTGERS ChemTrade team is based at the RÜTGERS Germany Duisburg site – and travels throughout the world in order to secure raw materials, make contacts, look after networks and serve markets.
In 2008 RÜTGERS opened a representation office in Shanghai in order to optimally serve the Asian market. The main representation office in the Chinese conurbation, coordinates and supports the activities of the Business Lines (Basic Aromatics, Resins & Modifiers, Trading) in the Asian sector and is always available to our customers as a point of contact.
